yeah, i only get overly emotional during films when there's some sort of awesome display of heroic underdog arse kicking. For example probably the last film to get me choked up was Kick Ass when Hit Girl is murderizing all those mafia guys.
Martial arts movies and Star Wars get me very emotional.
