Seriously though, when can you tell the gender? I want to take the opportunity to lecture you about quitting smoking now, but I think it's been said. I think it's about WAY MORE than just "low birth weight". Besides, once you got that little dude/dud'ette in your hands, you'll value the baby smell more than anything... the smoke smell ruins it, really. Sounds extreme but my sister-in-law and brother quit after their baby was born for that reason.... it's as good excuse as any, and if you're gonna quit, might as well give your body and the baby the 1-up WHILE you're preggers.
My mom smoked while pregnant with me and my brothers.... she cut back but smoked. We all had issues that could be associated with the smoking. Don't be like me mum

baby smell is so so so so beautiful. i've only smoked 10 cigarettes today, which is amazing because i chain-smoke. shooting for the end of july to quit.
