Anyone see Jools Holland's Hootenanny?
 

By far the outstanding act IMHO was ' Seasick Steve' with his 3 string 'TransWonder' guitar.
I hope he sells alot of albums, I'm definitely buying one.

he was kool, jools rocking out on the piano however was not, and what was with that Amy Winehouse messing with her skirt the whole time. she sucked.

Seasick was cool, so was Adrian Edmondson. The whole show got a damned sight better after midnight, I have to say.

I didn't watch it because of damned-awful majority of the line-up.

Thank you for this. Never heard of the guy before. Now, I dig the hell out of him. Sure, it's just the delta blues, but it's a helluva lot better than the shit they hand out Grammys for these days (polished white boy crap like Joe Bonamassa and Kenny Wayne Shepherd).

Kinda reminds me of early White Stripes, nifty gimmick and all. Right up my alley.

Let's hope that he gets a bit more recognition.
I could tell that the people in Jools Hollands' audience were thinking 'Who the f**k is this?!' when he took the stage.
They f**king know who he is NOW!
I hope any fame and fortune that comes his way doesn't degrade his hobo lifestyle tho. :)
