how accurate is Steve's drumming!? find out here!!!
i know that the thread title sounds like as it was some spam haha..
but! ive found this site, where you can type in a song name and performer, and it shows how accurate the drummer is. they have a few sonic songs on there too (more older ones), some of the graphics seem weird tho, but this site is said to be reliable. its fun check it out! |
lol! why do they have scooter and jinx? Is there even drums on that track? I thought it was just thurston's broken amp.

Also Junkie's Promise

I typed in two songs... one by Radiohead, one by SY.
Looks, from the sample data, like Phil's got Steve licked. (The SY song I used was "Cross the Breeze") |
The sole assumption that a drum part should be constant throughout a song is preposterous.

akkurate drumming is for tekkno, nott for rokk musik

It's not saying a song needs only one drum part. I don't think so anyway. It's just measuring the drummer's accuracy for whatever part is being played. Put in a song that has two parts... something steady that changes dramatically halfway through or something. |
Didn't really understand how this worked, but on the topic Steve's drumming, I love it.
He defenitly have his own style of playing. As a drummer myself, I've got inspired from his drumming a lot lately. |
