I could be wrong as we haven't got proof of the regular cleaningness of their socks and underwear.Lemmy of Morthead would win hands down on that one.He once bet with a friend that he would keep the same socks on for several months and he did.That is disgusting.

True, I think there were grubbier bands than Ramones. In fact I don't think they were really grubby at all. Maybe in the first couple of years, but once they hit 30...

I disagree as far as the Johnny theory goes. He ran the band like a military boot camp, so I can't see bad hygiene being permitted.

Dee Dee played in GG Allin's band for a brief period but couldn't handle the debauchery. I think he was a prostitute for a while before he was a Ramone (53rd & 3rd).

I went to see The Jazz Passengers a few years ago, and as I went into the toilet, Dee Dee was coming out. He looked pretty healthy then.

More importantly, he wasn't wearing his leather jacket. Maybe it was at the dry cleaners?

Anyone watch the HBO show "Entourage"? Last week the main character (an actor) got offered to play Joey Ramone in "The Ramones" bio-film. Its all based on fictional movies, so there is not a real Ramones movie in the works (that I know of).
