ha! I just took an online test doo-dad for my first aid for work. I recall no such computer CPR. :(

I lost my spiffy laptop a couple months ago. Powers on but nothin' Won't even go into bios. Alas, well out of waranty

I have an older, much less spiffy one but it seems to have lost tcp/ip. One of these days, I'll try to reinstall windows--never done that on a laptop.

but yes, the poor thing is kind of in doomsville. It will start kind of fine in safe mode, but trying to load in regular means non responsive, then black screen of forever nothingness, except for arrow, that can do nothing.. paperweight atm.

You'd think. I spent about 2 hours futzing. TCP/IP was working but I couldn't figure out what the problem was. And using the restore discs was fairly quick and painless.

it is hospital, it might be back in a month, or so.
