my laptop's update software(asus) keeps telling me I have a bios update to install, but it wont download. I don't really know what the update actually is, so I'm not sure how to go looking for it elsewhere?

go to the asus support site and look for the latest bios update straight from the source. who knows if this shit that pops up might be a trojan or something.

All of my pcs, they never advertised me of newer bios releases, evah...
sounds a bit suspicious to me, also coz bios updates can be quite dangerous (in terms of possible problems when something goes wrong during the update) and are suggested only if you're experiencing problems with the current one installed on your macheeeeen or if you reeeeeaaally need the "new features" (if any) featured in a different release (such as extended cpus compatibility etc etc).
But now that I think about it, I tend to eradicate all the non-necessary software from my pcs, so that asus updater thing could be 100% legit.

well, the icon that it comes from/is connected to, has been on my laptop since I bought it.. so I assume it is legit. :confused:

but, I will maybe try searching for my laptop in their downloads I guess? :confused:

it's someone spying you from the day you bought it.

I've had difficulty with bios updates in the past and haven't done one in forever. I'd go to the Asus site and check out what the update does. Unless you have a problem covered by the update, don't bother.

it's been a long time since I've flashed my bios, but the last time I did, it was on a Dell that "told me" that update was available.

if I recall correctly, the update had to be downloaded separately and the install required going into the bios CP on bootup.

thankfully with my mac, the software and hardware are proprietary. :p

it was my fault for taking you down that wing. it's not needed to finish the dungeon and it's difficult for characters who are level 60. the zombies down there can't be killed; they fall down and then get back up after a few seconds. if you don't keep moving, yr stuck in combat constantly. there's a lot of other "guantlets" like that at higher level. it's a gimmick used to stress healers and mana.

I should have been able to save you, but my Righteous Defense wasn't acting so righteous last night. I think it's time to update healbot. Hand of Protection was on cooldown too.

next time, hump my pally like a dog. mobs won't escape the Consecration.
