Lif is solid.
I haven't this album. I liked Enter Colossus and I Phantom

it's a good album, i like brothaz,the fries,long distance. i don't really know what my favorite tracks are too be sure because it's been a couple years since i listened to it, but lif is always solid

Very good album, but convinces me he'll never top I Phantom, which is just an impeccably crafted record. The Fries, Murs Iz My Manager (which does humorous and carefree rap way better than the very next song does...Washitup is actually the only song I don't care for), Brothaz...quality. I think a drop in the overall quality of El-P's beats is why I don't think of it so highly as Phantom, 'cause lyrically Lif is sharp as ever.

Good point about the beats jenn, they are that little more conventional compared to I Phantom, his masterpiece. I was listening to it earlier thinking that it still remains in a league of its own, though. Lirically it is still Mr Lif at his best. I suppose all the kicks and punches he packed into I Phantom gave the lyrics a more cutting tone than on this, still I am not complaining. Personal favourites are Lookin In and Take, Hold, Fire!

i haven't heard this one yet. my favourite of his records are emergency rations and the perceptionists LP

Emergency is another fucking ace album. I mean, I Phantom has Status and New Man Theme, which are PERFECT.

The Lif albums I really like are I PHANTOM (for real) and EMERGENCY RATIONS ep... but after that I kinda felt like his shiz just didn't excite me.

on the topic, Mo Mega is alright although I hardly ever listen to it anymore (unlike I Phantom which gets frequent spins on my player)
