haha, it really is a very well done dvd. my friend steve who by no means is into experimental, noise rock, or noise music fell in love with lighning bolt because of that dvd. we watched it about 15 times over christmas break. its almost too good, like i feel it reveals everything great about that band, taking away from the mind blowingness of thier live shows.

Where'd you hear the new album was coming out this fall? Last I heard everything was recorded, and that was back in the beginning of February.

Thanks, that was quick, i love this dvd but always forget i have it because i didn't have the cover, hopefully when i print this out it'll make me watch it more!

i've never "got" lightening bolt... not sure why... some stuff i dont mind, but i've always thought musically they were a bit bland and that just playing heavy doesnt counter that. Maybe i should dig out hypermagic moutain somemore - bu this vid doc thing isn't doing it for me either.

They're just brilliant.
