Not much of a Tupac fan but he has his moments

Most people start with "All Eyez on Me", his peak album with Suge Knight / Death Row Records. If you're into classics like The Chronic, Doggystyle, anything by N.W.A, or other more g-funk oriented albums, this is your starting place.
Otherwise, Me Against The World may tickle your fancy

noisereductions 01.04.2009 03:35 PM

ME AGAINST THE WORLD is my favorite.

NWRA 01.04.2009 05:13 PM

Strictly 4 My Niggaz if you like Public Enemy, the Bomb Squad-sound.

atsonicpark 01.04.2009 05:18 PM

I prefer x-pac.

Chuck D once showed up to raise doubts about Pac's death..

atsonicpark 01.04.2009 05:37 PM

"suge shot me man"

noisereductions 01.04.2009 08:32 PM

no "man", just "Suge shot me." I forget what it is he really said, though. One of the Outlaws verified it. Allegedly.

the only one i love is 2pacalypse, his debut. his rhymes are absolutely amazing, as he bounces between street thug and street prophet seemingly within the same verse. killer beats. one of the west coast greats, if not the GREAT (granted in this dude's mind, the west coast had nothing on the east coast and never will).

Rob Instigator 01.05.2009 01:49 PM

I just enjoy watching him dance in the background of the DOOWHATCHULIKE
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3KwjBDwbhzM
"OOOohh! I see guys and girls dancin'!"

and Humpty Dance videos.

noisereductions 01.05.2009 01:52 PM

Rob, what about his cameo in NOTHING BUT TROUBLE?

tesla69 01.06.2009 10:12 AM

He was talented and involved with criminals. Now he's dead.

2pac is a west coast rapper, stylisticaly and lyrically. where he made that record doesn't matter one fucking bit. this picky shit is the stuff that pisses me off about this board.

Rob Instigator 01.06.2009 02:33 PM

Yr on probably the biggest rock nerd forum and you get upset about people being picky? that is funny!

2Pac rhymed as MC NEW YORK with the Digital Underground. no reason to mention it other than it is true.
