Zeena plays two nights at Roulette Oct 25-26 I think.

Glasslands sucks, filthy and unorganized, at least they aren't posting a 8pm start time like most of those w'burg shitspaces do.

Bruce is trying to get some compelling talent. To get an idea of what he's hoping for, Lee, T, Jim and Corsano (if I recall) played together at the DMG benefit at tONic several years back...

Bruce as in Downtown Music Gallery? He is a fucking star! Many many years ago I asked him for a Loren Mazzacane Connors recommendation and he sold me what is still one of the best CDs I own.

So, anyway, why does the store need a benefit?

i think the main thing is they have to relocate, which has been in the works for awhile now, come to think of it...

I found the Haunted House/MCIAA split at DMG a few weeks ago so they're definitely on my happy happy list right now.

I knew they had to relocate once, is this a second move?

The Haunted House/MCIAA split was available at the Sensational Fix exhibition in Italy the other weekend, but the price was even more ridiculous than usual - somewhere in excess of $200.

i might go to this. i get off of work at eleven but knowing williamsburg it won't start until midnight. i'm thinking about asking that one girl out to this show.

my guess is this is gonna start around 11. Although I have no idea, really.

what matters is who plays first...the times i've been there this venue is always fucked up but I'm guessing zeena and thurston would choose to not start their set at 1:00 am. can't tell when cuz the flyer says 10 pm but to glasslands that means anytime between 10 pm Fri and 10pm Sat.
