health problems

one thing we havnt discussed on here. what are some of your general health problems? for me there was my shoulder surgery obviously, but after 7 weeks im now starting to feel much better, and started physical therapy. i gained 20 lbs since the injury and lost all my muscle, so i realllllly wanna start running and working out again, but i gota take it easy for another few months or so, oh well. my other main thing is my high blood pressure. its hereditary on my dad's side of the family. everyone man on my father's mother's side of the family has died of heart disease before the age of 45. the only one who's lived beyond that is my dad, and thats because he has been on the medication he needs. this morning for instance i had one of my routine check ups with my cardiologist, and i hadnt taken my meds, and i was out drinking till 4 am, so i only slept two fucking hours. needless to say, my blood pressure was sky rocketed (164 over 99), and my doctor freaked, but i told him my situtation. so i take a combo of lisinoprol and torpoil, which are beta blockers and pretty much control the strain of my blood flow. i also have mild bipolar disorder, also hereditary from my dad's side of the family. i dont take anything for that though.

i've made 4000000 threads about health problems

sciatica
oral allergy syndrome
probably bipolar disorder

i had hepatitis b but i got that sorted out. (it was the acute form)

schizophrenicroom 09.20.2008 12:52 PM

i have mild panic attacks.

SYRFox 09.20.2008 12:58 PM

I'm color-blind. Also I have a heart murmur. I have frequent pains in my back, for two years I had regular "kinesitherapy". Frequent tooth problems too.
Nothing too important though.
I have no diagnocized mental problems, but I think I'm a little paranoiac

Everyneurotic 09.20.2008 01:05 PM

i currently have bronchitis, or getting over it.

i'm prone to respiratory diseases.

atsonicpark 09.20.2008 01:12 PM

I've been diagnosed with acid reflux, ocd, and depression.

I used to have scoliosis.

HaydenAsche 09.20.2008 01:13 PM

Well, my nervous system is severely fucked.
My extremities go numb at random times.
I have severe panic attacks and I am constantly anxious.
I have chronic bronchitis.
Lots of skin shit. Psoriasis, excema, etc.
I have a bad siatic nerve. It's a family thing. My dad just had major surgery on his.
Mad acid reflux.

I'm not sure what sciatica is. I've never heard it. Granted, the majority of the things I have I haven't been to the doctor for in years. I don't have health insurance so I don't use anything but otc medication.

Cantankerous 09.20.2008 01:28 PM

you said you had a bad sciatic nerve right?

do you get pain in your lower back/ass/leg?

i don't have insurance either so i'm paying out the ass for prescriptions. i rly should just bite the bullet and get insurance but it would cost so much to insure me and i'm not sure it would actually save me any money. nor am i about to get arrested for something stupid like insurance fraud (right?) if i told them i don't smoke etc so it would be cheaper.

!@£$%@$£)$%^)*^)£$^%)*^£$£)*^$)^*£$*^£$) is going to come in here and tell me stupid shit because i mentioned insurance.

HaydenAsche 09.20.2008 01:31 PM

Yeah, dude! It really sucks. It comes and goes but I can't sit down or lay down and I just have to stand up in the most pain ever. I hate it.

floatingslowly 09.20.2008 01:32 PM

I was born dead, so there's not much that I can do to top that.

I take them when I have them. Thankfully, my grandmother gives me all of her old painkillers that she never took so I've got enough T3 and Perc10s to last me the next year.

Cantankerous 09.20.2008 01:42 PM

thank christ. i've put up with enough bullshit in the last week.

davenotdead 09.20.2008 01:44 PM

you should start your own thread and list the your "health problems" that make conflict with you being dead.

"can move my fingers and type semi-coherent sentences" seems to be one.

floatingslowly 09.20.2008 01:52 PM

I'm not dead anymore, though.

I got better.

terriblecanyons 09.20.2008 01:53 PM

Uh, as everyone ever knows, I have a broken foot.
And my sinuses are really stupid. The entire time I lived in WY my sinuses were constantly bleeding and stuffed up so I had a chronic sinus infection. I probably still do but it's not as bothersome anymore.
