What shows would make good SYR's?

And Why?

One such vote for me would be http://www.sonicyouth.com/mustang/cc/090500.html

Since it's a loose collection of Lee, Jim & Steve and guests doing various songs from different tangents.. Interesting.

fun topic, noisereductions...

http://www.sonicyouth.com/mustang/cc/040199.html

have a cool idea for the cover's source photo, but unfortunately no longer have it on the hard drive or photobucket...anyway, the picture is the cover of my copy of this show which marked the first time SYR 4 material was performed in a live concert setting.

I know, I know, there's already an SYR 4, so this might be considered redundant as an additional SYR release (if the band has the appropriate audio to source from), but darn it, it's my choice.

And the bootleg recording only has the SYR 4 material; maybe the release could have one excerpt from each of the solo sets.

Yes, I think that one is better than the Philly one.

demonrail666 07.24.2008 06:42 PM

I'm sure this has been discussed before, but is there a reason why the Brighton Beach show hasn't been released officially?

noisereductions 07.24.2008 06:47 PM

BLOOD ON BRIGHTON BEACH?

I'd rather they do a really amazing remastered gatefold CD reissue of WALLS HAVE EARS. Droooool. I understand they didn't want it to be released in 86, but god, get over it! It came out! It's awesome! It's a great docuement! Fucking re-release !

atsonicpark 07.24.2008 07:10 PM

the one with thurston going "WE'RE STEVE ALBINI LOUDMOUTH RMAONES"

noisereductions 07.02.2010 01:21 PM
