anyway for what i read sounds like your first experience of the third world. welcome to where i grew up! (not trinidad-- just another backwards country). we also have glass on the walls to deter thieves (they jump over anyway).

(and that doggie with no hair has scabies-- we call it sarna. es un perro sarnoso. )

I thought a lot about this last month, it lead me to look into the shit i was buying on a weekly basis. I got rid of (recycled, gave to charity shops) a huge about of clothes and books and magazines.

I'm not loaded, not even close, but i do seem to hoard things that i don't need.

I got rid of some things i probably could have gotten a lot of money for on ebay. Oh well, i'd rather they be recycled to be honest.

I am going to South America soon, thanks for that, I enjoyed reading it
