your favorite favorites thread

1 2 3 go!

I really liked the haiku one and the MSPaint-a-film-scene threads. Probably the only really great threads in the history of this board.

Here's some haiku I just wrote actually:

Young voluptuous contend
Lake trembles grin invent
Open rags

Bad banal disorder
Moonrain dropped sparks devour
Ideas rapture

Honey tol kiwi
Windows pencils seize portrait
Silk papayawhip

Beast deep telephone
Steer in spangled sidewalks
Thawing hopeless

Ice vile insuperable
Rushing valley azure nubile
Rat ragtime

This one!

atsonicpark 04.03.2008 01:07 PM

Also, I realize this thread was supposed to be me listing my FAVORITES threads i like, but I hate them all, so I listed threads I actually enjoy, not this bullshit.

Also, remmeber when we talked about music?

No, I don't think this forum is for that.

█████████ 04.03.2008 01:15 PM

you're so fucking boring atsonicpark.

ok, let's talk about music.
go ahead pick a topic.

Lurker 04.03.2008 01:19 PM

How about we talk about real fucking music instead of some insignificant rock bands

BEETHOVEN!

Rob Instigator 04.03.2008 01:26 PM

Beethoven's 9th symphony is something that I listen to at least 4 times a year. It uplifts me and confounds me and worries me and it makes me feel alive.
Beethoven wrote it while totally deaf, "hearing" the music in his head and transcribing it into parchment.
Beethoven was angry, hated the fucking bullshit patronage system or the royal courts and rich fucks and the church. He sought humanist values in music and succeeded.
The 9th symphony, with it's final ODE TO JOY movement, was the first music played at the Berlin wall by leonard bernstein and the berlin philharmonic the day after the wall was announced as to be destroyed, when everyone helped destroy it. It was the only piece of music which could and can convey such a transcendent human experience.

Lurker 04.03.2008 01:28 PM

Yeah! I love Beethoven's 9th!

Holy shit, that's the first time I've ever been called BORING in my entire life. That actually kinda blows my mind. But.. wow.. you got me there... I'm definitely boring because I don't want to talk about "your favorite STD" or "Your favorite coffee" on a music message board. Here, lemme start a thread in praise of Hitler real quick!!! Hope I win some "excitement points".

Actually, I'm one of the only members of this board that's not a virgin. I think I have enough excitement for most on the members of here combined. Maybe I should bump "my finger just shoved her finger in my butt"... would that excite you?

Your name is boring.

is this it?

i dont understand why you're complaining about the others then.

atsonicpark 04.03.2008 04:16 PM

Because you apparently think I'm boring for not making boring threads about boring favorites. That's why I said anything.

You're such a bore. That's two people who told you that on one thread only. Move on.

Beethoven so sold out! Seriously, his last few concerts people would call out requests, and he would act like he couldn't even hear them or something!

atsonicpark 04.04.2008 01:08 PM

Cuz Virgins are boring! Cuz they don't fuuuuuuuuck!!!!!!

Actually, I was just trying to say something shocking and exciting. Guess I failed.
