The Breakfast Club
I recently saw this again, after many years...it was at the theater for a midnight showing..."Don't you...forget about me..."
Ally Sheedy's character was way better looking before Molly Ringwald did the makeover. |
one of the best movies ever. "he has marijana, do you approve of this?!"
I don't get the fascination with this movie. Perhaps I'm too young.

this is probably true...

I just went to the store and bought a copy, along with Ferris Beuller's Day Off.
Ahh, high school 80's movies..lol
i got breakfast club and big from a yard sale for under five bucks
Big--that's another good one. I forgot about that.

I was just thinking about that the other day. They're remaking Ferris Bueller and everyone is freaking out, like they're going to confiscate everyone's copy of the original when the new one comes out. Whatever, they can do what they want. They'll fail, but whatever.
But instead of reusing a 1980's high school plot like Ferris Bueller (which is quite honestly a horribly stupid plot) why don't they reuse 1980's high school style? There's never anything like them anymore because everyone's trying to capture old movies by reusing the plot. That isn't how it works. |
the style...Exactly...well put, acoustickrock87.
Decent flick.
haven't seen either, i hate the eighties. i perfer to pretend like it never happened
i like it. sometimes i look at my coworkers and tell them "you fuck with the bull you get the horns", but none of the get it.

these movies were bigger than the 80's. they're serious business. |
Not to mention the fact that Richard Edson is in Ferris Bueller. That alone is reason to watch it.
Goonies, anyone?
I actually haven't seen all of that.

That's stupid. 80s gave us Morrissey and Joy Divison. |
