I finished my rat yesterday....

and i love it ... sounds very good and the production was very cheap in contrast to buying it.

here is a picture of the electrical stuff maybe i will post a picture of the whole rat at the evening or so...

Magublafix 05.20.2006 03:21 AM

why??

Magublafix 05.20.2006 03:35 AM

it's easy when you have the circuit diagram, because then the only thing you have to do is soldering and that's very easy... everybody can do this. in addition my father helped me a little bit, becuase it hasn't worked at the beginning.

Trasher02 05.20.2006 08:29 AM

Cool dude. i'd probably fuck it up.

finding nobody 05.20.2006 09:11 AM

how much did you spend making it?

Magublafix 05.20.2006 09:28 AM

i think for the electric stuff 3 weeks or so, but then i stoped the production for 3 month ,because of school and so.. and yesterday i finished it ..
and it's so cool

CHOUT 05.20.2006 09:38 AM

Cool man. good job. post a sound sample if you can!

golden child 05.20.2006 09:39 AM

i found the diagram for this really simple thermin and another for a wicked cool joystick oscillator, ill be making them once i buy the parts which will be once i get paid.

i acually suck really bad at soldering but this is a good chance to improve

hi guys....sound samples are on their way...

cya

BTW: me = bandmember...^^

jon boy 05.20.2006 10:49 AM

i always like it when people build their own stuff so hats of to ya.

Magublafix 05.20.2006 11:08 AM

and here is a sample, but it has a bad quality, becuase i recorded it with my digi-cam... http://magublafix.lima-city.de/CIMG2529.WAV

do you do this for money? i mean that in a totaly innocent way so please no inuendos. if so, how much for one?

Savage Clone 05.20.2006 11:10 AM

I'm surprised you didn't ask if he did it for attention.

jon boy 05.20.2006 11:13 AM

as far as what you are reffering to i have no beef with you. it was not a random hate filled rant, there are reasons you know.

sry but i don't do it for money, becuase i will build another 3 pedals and i don't have very much time at the moment. But maybe when i finished them all ... i will tell you if i change my mind... (the price depends on the price of the electricall stuff, but i think 30-40 euros ...

i saved at least 30 euros...

jon boy 05.20.2006 11:29 AM

thats a lot cheaper than the shops. a lot cheaper. does it still have all the same functions? the rat i used you could get a little bit of crunch to a full blown bowel twister.

Magublafix 05.20.2006 11:37 AM

listen to the sample... at the beginning of it the controllers are in the middle-position. But it doesn't sound exactly like the rat, becuase you can't get the perfect components in the shops, but i'm contented with it..

Another cause why i don't want to build pedals for money is, that you can never be sure , that it really works.

rat attack!!! great does it blast PA systems? would be great a Turbo TRansducer that keeps gain coming out of the sewers like RATS!!!!!! eatt people

krastian 05.20.2006 12:09 PM
