friday is a tough night, I'm pretty sure I'll be at the Stone, but Daniel Carter is playing at Issue Proeject Room and Steve Swells band Slammin the Infinite w/Heyner and Mateen play the LIving Theater they were fantastic last year there...

Caught the White Out set Friday, they played with Nate Wooley who does this processed trumpet thing, I found to be somewhat harsh, not friendly noise...surprising crowd turnout.

The funniest part was when Tom asked Nate if he had any gigs lined up, Nate said he couldn't think of any? or something like that. yet when you look at his calendar... http://www.myspace.com/woundedstoryteller

btw- out of those gigs, March 18 at Knitting looks real fucking good, Darius Jones kills on the sax if you never seen him.
