Cheeta The Chimp
Anyone read this article on The Guardian today? Cheeta is apparently one of the last survivors of Hollywood's golden age and 76 years old, now (wow!). He is the oldest recorded non-human primate and is addicted to cigars and booze, a fine exponent of apeism painting and a retired superstar.

Cool. In other recent animals news ---->
Honour sought for 'Soldier Bear' A campaign has been launched to build a permanent memorial to a bear which spent much of its life in Scotland - after fighting in World War II. The bear - named Voytek - was adopted in the Middle East by Polish troops in 1943, becoming much more than a mascot. ![]() ![]() http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/scotland/...nd/7208505.stm |
