Ok. I was 14 years old , living in a small pueblo in Chile, south america, and i recieved a very old and used tape of "dirty". it blew my mind away. the guitars, the voices, the drums, everything fit in place, i had sex for the very first time listening to "wishfullfillment":D and it was awesome. So, 3 years later, we got all the new technology (cd's, internet, the works) and later, i find out that..sonic youth was reunited!...the thing is i found out that the band had never come here, not even on a visit. wasup with that? why europe and not here? WTF!? peral jam came last year, so did mars volta, pj harvey, massive attack. why not a Sonic Tour over here?? anyways, i love sonic youth, but im getting to accept that ill never see them live. have a good one.

I have read that to transport equipment down to South America is super expensive. A band like Sonic Youth doesn't have the fiancial clout that the Red Hots or Pearl jam do...Thats just reality.
