That was a feeble attempt to rile the android man, but it didn't work because he is an android.

The Grateful Dead fans I was exposed to on the five occasions that I saw them Dead in 1988-89 managed to completely cure me of the desire to ever attend another one of those shows.

You weren't there. I'm telling you, it was one of the most collectively sad and pathetic bunches of people I have ever been around. It was awful. I met one or two cool people, but my overall experience was severe depression.

it's true the dead fans i saw in the early 90s were a banch of patchouli-oozing lsd burnouts, smelly, filthy, and disgusting hippies, but that didn't keep me from going repeatedly to the shows-- they were tons of fun
