Help Me!! I Want to Send A Message To...

This guy in my class over myspace, but I need some sort of introduction. Any Suggestions?

Anngella 11.25.2007 02:12 AM

Is it a "hey baby, how you doin'?" kind of message. Or a "hey, I have a question on X assignment" message?

SynthethicalY 11.25.2007 02:13 AM

It was more of like what's up kind of deal. Nevermind I already sent him a message.

ZEROpumpkins 11.25.2007 02:14 AM

Did he reply?

Anngella 11.25.2007 02:15 AM

Good, because I wouldn't have been able to help either way.

I just added this guy from my school who seems to have a lot in common with me + we have mutual friends, so I'm going to use that as part of the reason I added him.

You guys scare me You have those people "near" you in real life and feel the need to "break the ice" through myspace?

Alex's Trip 11.25.2007 06:52 AM

"How much does a polar bear weigh?"

I don't know...

"Me neither, but it was enough to break the ice. What's up?"

Affirmative.
What, you expect me to actually go up to them in the hall and say hi? That's just creepy.

Savage Clone 11.25.2007 03:04 PM

Internet stalking is totally less creepy than live action conversation.

nicfit 11.25.2007 03:06 PM

I feel like I'm in the wrong generation. I'm already too old for this world.

No we talk on class, but it is just I was left blank on talking to him on myspace.

nicfit 11.25.2007 03:50 PM

Oh, ok.
Sounds less scary.

SynthethicalY 11.25.2007 03:51 PM

But I have done that though, I have a friend who we have seen like five times each other, but spoke through myspace first. Now we talk over the phone, this generation is a screw-up.

nicfit 11.25.2007 04:07 PM

Yes, a total screw-up in some aspects- I'm afraid the next generation will be too next level to even have a social life in the "real world". No, not the tv show.
haha.
I recently read an interview done to a crappy italian "anticon-wannabe" kind of rap band, who got "famous" thanks to blogs and stuff, the question was "50% of your fame is due to your "success" with bloggers and the subsequent internet buzz, what do you think the other 50% is due to?" (awfully translated, hope you understand what I mean).
Their answer " Our look, obviously.".
Which is kinda funny if they said that in a humourous way, but I'm afraid it might be true. I mean, now here in Italy fuckin' Tokio Hotel are the band most adored by teenager. Italy sucks.

SynthethicalY 11.25.2007 04:09 PM

Well italy has a declining population. But I know what you mean, I am not this antisocial as I used to be. I talk to anybody now and days.

_slavo_ 11.25.2007 04:32 PM

I know what you're talking about, nicfit. In my country, the latest fashion among teens is emo, which is pretty horrible after all. Even more so, because it was a big deal in the rest of the world like 10 years before.

nicfit 11.25.2007 04:36 PM

Yep, I realized the whole "second part" in my post is more than a little off topic... but it's still related to the youngsters-internet-sociality issue.
EMO.

_slavo_ 11.25.2007 04:41 PM

Thank God, in like 1995-96 when I was at the highschool, the only internet-related thingy working in our school was text-operated irc chatting. Which I failed learning to operate, so I had more time to hang around and talk to girls in the old-fashioned way. Which I am grateful for, now.
