Help Me!! I Want to Send A Message To...
This guy in my class over myspace, but I need some sort of introduction. Any Suggestions?
|
Is it a "hey baby, how you doin'?" kind of message. Or a "hey, I have a question on X assignment" message?
|
It was more of like what's up kind of deal. Nevermind I already sent him a message.
|
Did he reply?
|
Good, because I wouldn't have been able to help either way.
I just added this guy from my school who seems to have a lot in common with me + we have mutual friends, so I'm going to use that as part of the reason I added him. |
You guys scare me You have those people "near" you in real life and feel the need to "break the ice" through myspace?
|
"How much does a polar bear weigh?"
I don't know... "Me neither, but it was enough to break the ice. What's up?" |

What, you expect me to actually go up to them in the hall and say hi? That's just creepy. |
Internet stalking is totally less creepy than live action conversation.
|
I feel like I'm in the wrong generation. I'm already too old for this world.

No we talk on class, but it is just I was left blank on talking to him on myspace. |
Oh, ok.
Sounds less scary. |
But I have done that though, I have a friend who we have seen like five times each other, but spoke through myspace first. Now we talk over the phone, this generation is a screw-up.
|
Yes, a total screw-up in some aspects- I'm afraid the next generation will be too next level to even have a social life in the "real world". No, not the tv show.
haha. I recently read an interview done to a crappy italian "anticon-wannabe" kind of rap band, who got "famous" thanks to blogs and stuff, the question was "50% of your fame is due to your "success" with bloggers and the subsequent internet buzz, what do you think the other 50% is due to?" (awfully translated, hope you understand what I mean). Their answer " Our look, obviously.". Which is kinda funny if they said that in a humourous way, but I'm afraid it might be true. I mean, now here in Italy fuckin' Tokio Hotel are the band most adored by teenager. Italy sucks. |
Well italy has a declining population. But I know what you mean, I am not this antisocial as I used to be. I talk to anybody now and days.
|
I know what you're talking about, nicfit. In my country, the latest fashion among teens is emo, which is pretty horrible after all. Even more so, because it was a big deal in the rest of the world like 10 years before.
|
Yep, I realized the whole "second part" in my post is more than a little off topic... but it's still related to the youngsters-internet-sociality issue.
EMO. |
Thank God, in like 1995-96 when I was at the highschool, the only internet-related thingy working in our school was text-operated irc chatting. Which I failed learning to operate, so I had more time to hang around and talk to girls in the old-fashioned way. Which I am grateful for, now.
