For you, Who does really personify indie rock ?

I disrespect the word indie.
But I'd go with unwound for the 90s
80s is obvious.

Kurt Cobain, Beck, and Billy Corgan are not indie. But I would go with Kurt, just because if it wasn't for him mentioning Sonic Youth I would not have found out better music.

I think I would go with Mike Watt since he's collaborated with everyone under the sun. And he's awesome.

Bah I'd certainly go for Guy Picciotto but in this case : Steve Albini.

I picked Beck. He's the most recognizable person besides Kurt Cobain, and I'm not going to pick teh Kurdt for this sort of thing.

Serioulsy, I think we haven't enough "General" threads where the new boarders could take part. when i joined the board, there were threads like "what's your favourite SY song ?" or other stuffs like that. That's why I started this one.

I tried to be as "various" as possible. And you know, you can only have 10 choices...
But you can also choose an other one.
