CD Burner Porgram Help
 

I need to find a free cd burning program that will let me select my external cd drive to burn cds with (because the one that's built into my computer is fucked). I was using nero but the free trail expired.
Any suggestions. thank you in advanced

you need to make the external one the master, on the internal there are some jumpers to choose between master and slave

I used to use iTunes to burn to an external drive until I got a Mac Mini with an internal one. Granted they've upgraded a bazillion times and may have taken the ability to burn to an external drive off, but I doubt it, since they just want the thing to be ubiquitous. Try downloading the Windows version (assuming you use a PC) from Apple's site.

Of course Terminal Pharmacy's advice is the best, because whatever program you use is going to look for the logical default.

I guess the interface is USB (or perhaps Firewire but it's rarer) as it's an external drive, so there's no master/slave setting.

Didn't you have a have a burning software provided with the drive ?

It was given to me, and I didnt get anything else with it
