The good news and the bad news

I'm smugly pleased with myself because I saved this lady from falling down a tube escalator today, potentially injurying herself and other passengers behind her severely.

gmku 06.22.2007 10:03 AM

So what's the good news?

sarramkrop 06.22.2007 10:04 AM

You bastard!! I'm a total hero!!

gmku 06.22.2007 10:05 AM

Yeah, right.

Rob Instigator 06.22.2007 10:06 AM

what's the big black song where albini sings a paraphrase of the opening lines from "schizophrenia?"

Danny Himself 06.22.2007 10:06 AM

Tube as in London Underground?

Those emergency spiral staircases are death traps, you should keep your eyes peeled.

kim gordon's panties by rapeman?

sarramkrop 06.22.2007 10:10 AM

Yes, The Tube as in the London Underground. Anyway, the bad news is that she happened to be in front of me and she could have dragged me down too. If that wasn't the case I would have let her go because she was only a tourist.

Danny Himself 06.22.2007 10:16 AM

Harsh. I'll be on extra guard next time I'm in London, now that my suspicions are confirmed that you commuters are a heartless bunch.

gmku 06.22.2007 10:17 AM

Spoken like a true hero, porkster. Tony Blair should give you medal.

Don't worry, come to L.A. and everyone here is nice. Or stucked in their cars to even notice something horrible is happening.

Isn't Tony Blair out, or is about to be out?

gmku 06.22.2007 10:20 AM

Oh, who can keep up with the crazy English political scene. There's the language barrier, for one thing.

SynthethicalY 06.22.2007 10:21 AM

Yes like colour. Or grey, or bollocks. Even sir.

Danny Himself 06.22.2007 10:21 AM

Gordon will be in shortly.

sarramkrop 06.22.2007 10:21 AM

Ok! Ok! She was in front of me but her travel bag nearly hit my balls and she was falling down while I was standing on the side that you take to go up, so technically I could have let her go and cause a game of domino on a narrow escalator. Still a hero, see?

Danny Himself 06.22.2007 10:22 AM

I suppose so. You didn't have to tell us all of this, you could have at least omitted some points to make you look more heroic.

I was thinking more of the difficult dialect of speech.

SynthethicalY 06.22.2007 10:23 AM

Porky you are still a hero, for saving that old lady against your will.

I find that a bit sexy, but I know what you mean.

Would have made for a more interesting story.
