How to seperate audio from windows video files and create mp3s?
If anyone could be so kind as to instruct me how to do this, I would be most grateful. Thanks in advance.

Open any software on your computer that records from your sound card, record it in real time and save it as a wav file. If it doesn't save as mp3's, download a program that does that and convert it into the format of your choice.

I use Audacity for this...I had to download that program when I took Community Radio Production class. |
The easiest way I've found is search out the free download of this program called "Switch". Much easier than doing it in Audacity or recording in realtime. Being a Mac user has forced me to find these solutions, but most of them work in a Windows environment as well (though you gotta get the right software version of course.)

wiretap can do what you want
