Favourite Madonna album

For Nefeli.

_slavo_ 04.27.2007 08:16 AM

Ray of Light.

I like Erotica a lot, but also Like A Virgin and Like A Prayer. My real favourite Madonna album is The Immaculate Collection, because it is one of the best collections of pop singles.

sonicl 04.27.2007 08:23 AM

My favourite is Music. Obviously it's spoiled by "American Pie", but the rest of the album is pretty near perfect, I think. There are quite a lot of sounds and production tricks on there that didn't really have much of a place in mainstream pop music at that time.

It's a thread in your honour, my sweetheart, you may do whatever you wish with it.

They're all a bunch of twaddle.

See how I showed restraint there?:p

The only Madonna I'm interested in, now I've found God.

jon boy 04.27.2007 08:32 AM

which album has into the groove?

Pookie 04.27.2007 08:32 AM

I actually don't mind Depeche Mode half as much as I do Madonna.

EDIT: I'm only showing restraint because it's all been said before, "good business woman; stretching a very small amount of talent a very long way; back actor; BAD writer; just plain FUCKING BAD!!!"

Thanks Nef, you're right, I do feel better already.

I meant to add: you're right sonicl, I am feeling a bit jon boy today. And starting a thread about Madonna isn't going to help matters.

Is that The Alarm?

sarramkrop 04.27.2007 08:50 AM

Yes.

Pookie 04.27.2007 08:56 AM

Relevance?

sonicl 04.27.2007 08:56 AM

I saw The Alarm three times. Most recently about three years ago, with quite an all-star line up. Craig Adams (Sisters of Mercy / The Mission) was playing, and someone else with quite a good history, but I can't think who at the moment.

But this is a thread about Madonna, so can we go back to talking about her, please.

I'd rather talk about the Alarm.

^ He's playing the moralistic card because he never, NEVER hijacks a thread.
