See what a little splash of colour does to a post?

I have no desire to share the music I make with the bunch here. Nor would there be any point. It would just be one more thing for people to be jealous about and nit-pick and take issue with. Why do you think people disclaim their offerings as "shameless self promotion?" Because it is exactly that. It it works for them, then great. To me, it just seems needy. Collect your efforts and put them onto board compilations. That's really the only way not to look like a jackass. If you do have a band that plays gigs, then you have a right to post about it. If you don't, then don't be a cheese. Just some advice.

beatuty is in the eye/ear of the beholder... deafness/blindness is common in "other" people.........................

the fun thing about pushing music on people is their initail impression....
example.... i pushed lightning bolt on a few mates whom id reckon would appreciate it. i burned th power of salad dvd for thm first and they were instantly amazed by it. i then went on to do the albums and low nd behold we have a legion of lb fans in wexford town and that has trickled down to their younger siblings. there i about 5 or 6 handmade bolt teeshirts floating around schools in wexford... the other side of the coin is my fascination on merzbow and the magik markers..... that hasnt hit so hard.....YET!!!!!

id push my own music but i havent a musical talent in my body so i dont do, i talk a lot about it instead........

I am a man, a man with four fingers
A man with four fingers on my hand
I am a man, a man with four fingers
But that doesn't coun't my thumb.
I am a man, a man with three fingers
A man with three fingers on my hand
I am a man, a man with three fingers
But that doesn't count my index finger or my thumb.
I am a man, a man with two fingers
A man with two fingers on my hand
I am a man, a man with two fingers
But that doesn't count my middle finger, my index finger, or my thumb.
I am a man, a man with one finger
A man with one finger on my hand
I am a man, a man with one finger
But that doesn't count my ring finger, my middle finger, my index finger,
or my thumb.
(whistling solo)
I am a man, a man with no fingers
A man with no fingers on my hand
I am a man, a man with no fingers
But that doesn't count my pinky or my ring finger, my middle finger,
my index finger, or my thumb.

...sorry for some reason i thought this would be relevent......

Hey, farmhouse - You've posted 60 times, and you're still only on one square of rep. Has no-one repped you at all? Or have you been upsetting people and getting negative rep?

ALIEN ANAL 05.30.2007 09:05 AM

shut the fuck up

Anyone who says they don't care about the rep thing is only lying to him or her self. You wouldn't be so meh about it if you were top of the pile.

Did you have to quote him, Porky? I've been enjoying not knowing what he's saying for the last few weeks.

Nope, the real shame lies in you not choosing century gothic for your style of reply, and I got there first, you see?

You can't beat Palatino Linotype, italicised, in size 4
