That was a fun comp.! The entire Sgt. Pepper album with each song covered by a different artist. I don't think it has ever been reissued on CD. Vinyl only!

1988? wow.

That sounds really cool... I wonder how much it would cost to get on vinyl off ebay or something...

Thanks!!!

pokkeherrie 02.26.2007 05:09 PM

you're welcome... and it is in fact really cheap on ebay usually. i got it from there for less than 50 pence some years ago. it's been released on vinyl, cassette and i've even seen (promo) cd copies of it. whether you really need to have it is another thing though. i really like sonic youth's cover, but it's a bit of an odd collection of artists and i don't think i've played it more than once or twice maybe.

Marfloth 02.26.2007 07:45 PM

Pokkeherrie. i love you.

hirsute_biped 02.26.2007 11:51 PM

so, i'm assuming they jamed with david crosby on this demo; probably on a sailboat. where were stills and nash? buying hawaiian shirts?

SY w/ tight harmonies...

i kinda did always wish to hear a sonic youth/neil young jam from that 90s tour; maybe it never happened though. one could make a really awesome SY/NY logo if you really felt like it.

SugarMountain 08.19.2007 03:04 PM

Sonic Youth with Crosby Harmonys, that would be different stuff all together
i would implode

_tunic_ 08.21.2007 10:47 AM

what song is Crosby Demo? Not sure if I've ever heard it ...

Toxa 08.21.2007 12:08 PM
