1st listen, I couldn't hold out any longer, apparently I had been missing something.

Such an amazing album. The first three tracks are all mindblowers

I'm halfway through and I'm still on the fence. I'm not a big fan of so many guest artists, but that's the name of the game it seems.

Okay, so Lil Wayne is creative, I'll give him that and this album is better than 90% of the commercial rap out there, but I'd like this album 1000x better without all the "doctor/hospital" shit, the talking in the background and a lot less vocoder. I'll will be listening to Tha Carter and Tha Carter II, though. They shouldn't be hard to find cheaply used.

Same here, for sure. Me and a friend of mine are always singing Strokes songs when we're together.

Ours is the same thing. it is indeed awesome.

the strokes were really my first favorite band, besises thge velvet undeground. is this it more ore less nararated my whole teen years so far.

I could say the same about the narrating with both The Strokes and the VU, although they both narrated the parts I wish to remember and the parts that I wish I could forget. Both at separate times.

I've spent many a sleepless night agonizing over the connection between music, memories, and emotions. Sucks sometimes, it does.

I really want to get that. They have it at my local record store, but it's like $15 for an EP. I can't bring myself to do it.

Whoa! I paid like, 7 bucks for it. But it's so worth it, I promise.

Every time I see it I just stare at the diagram of the bottle on the back. Beautiful packaging. I'll probably get it next time I'm there. I just gotta tell myself I'm gonna get it ahead of time instead of noticing it when I'm there for something else.

It is so cool. Everything about it. Packaging and music.

Heck yes. It's definitely my favorite of theirs. Not too heavy, but still masterfully created.


And so enigmatic... which is half the fun. I love the mysterious charm their music creates.
