SYRFox 02.24.2010 09:56 AM

Yep, it looks really neat indeed!

otearai 02.24.2010 10:11 AM

the question came to my mind, because very often i have to make the posters for the gigs i play by myself.

SONIC GAIL 02.24.2010 10:26 AM

I've reuploaded it:

I'll be playing in a small bar-like venue... I've played there two times before in the past and I've got mixed feelings about it. not the best performance space for my kind of music if you ask me - people go there, sip their drinks and then come to the DJ booth and ask for "something to hype them up".
you know, sort of this posh chill out bar.
nevertheless, my production will most likely be far from what I usually do ... i'll play beats in some of my tracks (I consider this a test of my sampler-programming skills) and there will be less drones and the like.

anyways, check the primavera festival thread, blunderbuss. I will most likely attend this event and so will greenlight and Moshe. We wish you could come with us.

No can do, I'm afraid - I have a prior engagement.

Pax Americana 02.26.2010 06:04 PM

That is pretty cool. It kinda scares me.

Keeping It Simple 02.26.2010 06:07 PM

I've seen better.

o'connor 02.26.2010 09:55 PM

that is damn cool looking

_slavo_ 03.01.2010 05:10 AM

I'd had shitty concerts before, but this one was by far the shittest.
just a pile of ugly overdriven drone, mutated by the terrible PA system, thrown at the shocked audience waiting for their favourite nu-jazz tunes. priceless.

pbradley 03.01.2010 05:11 AM

Sorry your gig wasn't less shitty.

_slavo_ 03.01.2010 05:16 AM

nono, i had fun. just the sound I produced was real bad. :)

A Thousand Threads 03.01.2010 05:34 AM

Bad gigs can be fun.

Toilet & Bowels 03.01.2010 06:58 AM

too bad it sucked, do you find it more or less frustrating that it wasn't your fault?

_slavo_ 03.01.2010 07:33 AM

to my big surprise, being the perfectionist guy that I am, I didn't really give a fuck. I sort of loathed the audience before I started playing (NONE of them was there for the music, just for chat/drinks/pulling girls) so I kind of attacked them deliberately. Bad PA just helped complete the job.
