the mofo was bleeding on my drums! that was quite a night.

John Violence 03.22.2006 07:29 PM

Indeed it was a good show. Loverboy and Wasp opened up for the SY that night. Originally 2 Live Crew was supposed to open instead of Wasp but I guess one of the guys shit himself when he heard The Sprawl before the show and was not able to recover in time to open. This also happened to Rod Stewart years later.

Hip Priest 03.22.2006 07:30 PM

Was that when Celine Dion was lead rapper in 2 Live Crew?

John Violence 03.22.2006 07:32 PM

Yep. I see you too have a good knowledge of music history from the 70s.

HaydenAsche 03.22.2006 07:37 PM

I never got the pleasure of seeing Celine in 2 Live Crew. I only seen them after they replaced her with Mariah Carey.

John Violence 03.22.2006 07:43 PM

That Sucks. 2 Live Crew really went down hill when Mariah Carey joined.

HaydenAsche 03.22.2006 07:45 PM

I thought so. The mullato just doesn't have the same affect as a jew-nosed canadian.

John Violence 03.22.2006 07:55 PM

yeah I agree.

i cant beleive no one has said anything about the time sonic youth started calling themselves "the velvet underground" or some dumb shit like that. ironicly enough they put that group title on their list of influences. how conceited.

HaydenAsche 03.22.2006 08:12 PM

Well, they are influenced by their former bands.

Isoflurane 03.22.2006 08:45 PM

Can't believe it.
Schizophrenia, man,
