It'll be interesting to see what they'll do with DDN these days (Please don't let it just be a straightforward performance of each song), but it just seems a little bit of a predictable choice.

EVOL would be amazing, but I'll easily settle for Daydream Nation. I never really liked the recordings I've heard from the Sister tour. Most of them sound like they're rushing through the album as if they're in a hurry.
I'm pretty sure I'd enjoy going to this more than the prospect of seeing them do another Rather Ripped set... that's why I'm considering going.

The fact that you exactly know what song is being played next is a bit of a minus though (I've had that before when I saw the cure on one of their trilogy shows playing pornography/disintegration/bloodflowers in its entirety), but just thinking about the sprawl, 'cross the breeze and trilogy... wow.... :eek:

By the way, there will also be an ATP "Don't look back" stage at this year's Primavera festival in Barcelona. Maybe Sonic Youth will be playing DDN there too? Slint, Comets on Fire and the Melvins have been confirmed so far....

Wooooooohooooooooo!! Yeah, can't believe my two favourite bands are playing my two favourite albums, just got my ticket! Man, this is so cool!

The only thought of seeing them playing 'The Sprawl' live made my day.Tickets are selling well,apparently.Gotta spread the word.

i knew this was coming up ages ago but didnt realise that the dates were announced... gotta get on the phone to find out about an irish date. excellent.......

I'm sure that they will play more than one gig if they happen to be around here at the time.

yeah. i wouldn't worry about it. if the band is gonna re-learn all of those songs, i can't see them making it something that they'd not want to share with as many fans as possible.
