Dogma 95

I watched th Uncut Unrated version of SIN CITY last night witha giant porjector it was great again. I just got it on the mail from amazon.

It's Seul Contre Tous which is by Gaspar Noe who directed Irreversible. I would guess so anyway...I haven't seen it but I really want to. Actually, haven't seen Irreversible yet but I did see the bit with the fire extinguisher which made me feel a bit ill to be honest.

Yes, the beginning is quite shocking, and it only gets worse.

i have seen bits of irreversible and was pretty grossed out by it. i have to see the whole thing though.

I just got done watching Eraserhead for the first time. Holy shit it was amazing.

Eraserhead is one of my top three favorites of all time.

Meanwhile, I got Demonlover on VHS for a couple of dollars yesterday.
After watching it, I still think I paid too much.

Is that film any good Hip Priest? I always seem to have my doubts about hiring it.

It is very good indeed. Good horror film with good acting and some genuinely funny bits in. Rent it, Tokolosh; if you don't like it then I will send the rental cost to you. I'm that certain that you will enjoy it.

While seemingly mundane, I just watched United 93. Which, in my humble and uneducated opinion, might be, in basic cinematic style and structure (and excluding any intellectual elucidations 'n that fancy shit) , one of the best-made films of all time.

It'll be the next one I hire. Thanks for the tip.

Edit: I just read that there's going to be a sequel in 2008. Dog Soldiers: Fresh Meat Hungry for seconds. :D
