yeah, it's another "please help!" thread...

I've realized that lately, on any cd I have, I tend to listen to songs with spoken word or poetry a lot. I love any song that has poetry being read over avante-garde music, or really any music I guess, within reason. Any suggestions, specifically albums that are nothing but?

The Soldier's Tale with somebody reading the poem is a good bet.

Lee Ranaldo - ''Notebook", its off one of his solo albums called ''Amarillo Ramp''. A great song and the vocalsare spoken word, and Lee has a good voice for that sort of thing. You can get it off me from soulseek.

I put Meanwhile Back in COmmunist Russia's two Peel sessions on badongo recently. Give them a try; it may be exactly what you want.

Actually I think I've heard that before, I think RdTv showed it to me once, but I did forget about it, I'll have to see about getting it.

Thanks for all the suggestions, I guess I have some shopping to do now...
