acousticrock87 07.14.2006 05:30 PM

I love the drill in Burning Spear. I don't understand how that works, though...Do electric drills have an audio-out jack or...what?

Danny Himself 07.14.2006 05:43 PM

He used a microphone, silly.

acousticrock87 07.14.2006 05:46 PM

Hm. I guess. It said he played it through a wah pedal so I always assumed it meant directly. I guess that makes sense though...Heh.

It says that in the liner notes. Most of the bonus songs are earlier versions of the songs on the original EP.

Maybe he held the drill near the pickups on his guitar. I've hear it said that if you do that, you should make sure the drill is not plugged into an outlet (for safety reasons). I'm not sure why that is.

Ya I think that would sound better. But I don't think it would work so well it it's not plugged in...I wonder what effect holding the drill bit against a mic stand would have...
