jon boy 06.18.2009 12:14 PM

i have had a really weird sleeping pattern recently due mainly to mrs boy and her work schedule which is pretty insane plus our room gets the light first thing and even with the blinds down its bright. my advice seriously is get off the internet or you will keep finding things to look at and then be no good at all by 10am.

Lamont Cranston 06.18.2009 12:20 PM

well my sleep patern has to do with doing nothing since May 2004

Shifty Prophet 06.18.2009 12:24 PM

Have you tried excersing during the day?

Lamont Cranston 06.18.2009 12:28 PM

went for a 97 minute walk in the evening

floatingslowly 06.18.2009 12:28 PM

I hope that Lankhmar doesn't regret that tattoo in the morning.

I would.

Lamont Cranston 06.18.2009 12:33 PM

His name is Fafhrd, I don't ever recall a tattoo being described. The man on the boat is the Gray Mouser.
Lankhmar is a city they frequenty have adventures in.

Thats good, maybe something a little more strenious to increase your heart-rate? Have you tried lifting weights or biking? Whatever you choose to do to get your heart-rate up, try to rememebr that the closer you do it to your desired sleep time, the harder it will be for your body to unwind in time. Also, beleive it or not alcohol won't help you very much. Initally it may get you to sleep but if you haven't expended enough energy throughout the day you will just wake up in the middle of the night or get poor quality of sleep.

Sorry, don't mean to write a dissertation, I just know how no sleep is, I lived like that for literally years.

Lamont Cranston 06.18.2009 12:38 PM

I could never lift weights or bike. Dont drink alcohol.

Shifty Prophet 06.18.2009 12:39 PM

Run?

I assumed that the cover was an accurate depiction.

although I've never read those books, I think I know the Gray Mouser from D&D. which is weird, because this doesn't look like a D&D thing....

I know that name!

Leiber licensed it to TSR in the 1970s, Lankhmar city and the Nehwon world appeared in their material through then to 1996. I dunno if they still use it.
It could be the old Fafhrd and Gray Mouser, depicting a scene from story in Book 2 since Fafhrd has red hair but that guys is grey and knarled and he is rather old.

I wish Americans followed the metric system.

I want to know what this means.

I haven't been able to sleep normally lately.

Up all night, sleeping all day.

Bad stuff.

Fucked up dreams though, very real.
