Best albums of the 60's

I've been spinnin' nothing but 60's jams lately, so how about a thread on them?

Here's a few:
13th Floor Elevators - Easter Everywhere
Beatles - Rubber Soul
Blue Cheer - Vincebus Eruptum
The Freewheelin' Bob Dylan/Highway 61 Revisted
Creedence Clearwater Revival - Willy & The Poor Boys
VU & Nico (duh)
Red Krayolas - Parable of Arable Land (the birth of noise-rock?)

There's more, so name 'em.

verticalwipe 10.27.2006 07:56 PM

i goofed - sorry.

verticalwipe 10.27.2006 07:58 PM

anything by 13th Floor Elevators ranks highly... the VU records. "Copperfields" and "Wheatstraw Suite" by the Dillards. stuff by the Byrds, the Beatles, Gram PArsons/Burritto Bros. Iggy and the Stooges. Can / Amon Duul / Ash Ra Temple.

fugazifan 10.27.2006 07:59 PM

than the obvious (VU, dylan beatles etc...) id say
the stooges-s\t
