on the Sonic Youth ep reissue, which of the songs did you enjoy the most?

Destroyer.

destroyer is neat-o

I had to pick Destroyer, since I have waited years to hear it. But also Cosmopolitan Girl was a nice surprise. Fuck, the whole show is awesome though.

The quiet section is really great

I chose Cosmopolitan Girl. I can't believe that Destroyer and Cosmopolitan Girl never made it to a recording studio.

as much as I loce cosmo girl and destroyer (esp c.g. i think), I can't say no to the she is not alone take. A different beast of that song.

extras sound better than the album itself.

I think Cosmopolitan Girl is very similar to the material they played in the Noisefest gig... In fact, I think the last Noisefest track is an instrumental Cosmopolitan Girl - I even think I heard Thurston saying "This is called Cosmopolitan" or something like that before the song...

?? i dont think any of the noisefest tracks appear on the EP reissue... i was actually surprised by this. there is one other show that's surfaced that contains a noisefest track, but i don't have it. i think these 4 tracks were pretty unique to the 'original' line-up...

but i could be wrong! i'll have to listen to em again...i thought it was odd that they were playing a CKM song in september 81..
