favoroite 80's trends

what are they

Pablitzen 04.23.2006 04:39 PM

the haaaair !!!!

Hip Priest 04.23.2006 04:48 PM

I've arbitrarily split the 'crazy ass hair' category into 'good crazy ass hair' and 'bad crazy ass hair', and so I am therefore voting for the 'good' part of 'crazy ass hair'. My favourite examples are Mr Tony James (left) and Mr Martin 'frightmask' Degville, bassist and singer respectively of the mighty Sigue Sigue Sputnik:

Tony in particular looked very cool.

I really thought this was where our country was headed with law enforcement but no. Another dream lost.

Everyneurotic 04.23.2006 04:57 PM

ball squeezing leather pants come from the 70's and in some way, has never gone out of style for certain people

CHOUT 04.23.2006 05:40 PM

Its fun to reminice about a time when mullets were as common as Def Leppard t-shirts.

Sheriff Rhys Chatham 04.23.2006 05:56 PM

Everyneurotic 04.23.2006 05:57 PM

I remember there was an Arcade at a mall by my house called Games R Fun in the early 80's. This wasn't no ChuckECheese/Circus Circus etc. shit, it was just wall to wall video games. Those died pretty quickly.

krastian 04.23.2006 06:26 PM

there was an arcade like you just described around the corner from my house, i used to go there for hours!!!! and yes, now it's long close. there's still an arcade on the mall near my house, but it has skeeball and tickets to trade for plastic prices, like a small chuckie cheese. but they had top notch games back in their heyday

krastian 04.23.2006 06:35 PM
