Inspired by the transatlantic Eno/Byrne collabo, the next SYR should be an internet-only sound installation that sonic youth does the original of, posts up on a one-time-admission paysite for a month or so, and then passes along to a worldwide slew of weird noisemakers, etc. each of whom get their version up on the site for a month while the next artist/group is working on theirs.

Maybe the only thing that would remain constant in the piece would be the Kim vocal track or something. Is that idiotic or totally awesome or both or neither?

But the TM/KG sex disc mentioned above is divine inspiration, really. They would knock that shit out of the park.
