I do respect that though. Shrug.
But I do see and pretty much agree with your two sides thing. |

Anyone who judges you for what you listen to is shit. Arguments about relative quality of different musicians are fine, but judging a person because of what makes their ears feel good is asinine and for 100% cunts. Also, I love you no matter what you like, because we have fun shooting the shit about it even when we disagree. |

Don’t laugh, hombre. In many ways, noisereductions is the least full of shit person here. I’ve never seen him attack anyone, and I’ve never seen him be intentionally cruel (which many people don’t realize is a very sad thing to be), and I’ve seen him weather insults without climbing into the muck to circle-jerk his accusers. He talks about music and other stuff, and he respects other perspectives. Also, if you’re serious about liking “Wannabe,” I respect that as well. Doesn’t make my ears feel good, but does it have merit as a pop song? Certainly. |

2 Become 1 is the better song... But I feel like you weren't being serious.

God you're a fucking idiot. You're so stupid, how do you breath? You're the most awful person I've come across online. Your ancestors should have been aborted to spare the world your insipid drivel. jk Actually, I don't know that song. |

I think you’ve lost track of who you’re trying to make fun of. |
Experimantal Jet Set, Trash & No Star.
This one is moving up in my favourite SY album rankings. |
St Vincent, Masseducation |

It’s actually “Masseduction” but I’ve called it the same thing countless times. |
Miles On the Corner box set, as fresh today as it was in '72

You're quite welcome. That post was brought to you by Bad Hombres, a division of Shithole, Inc. |
I've decided that I will listen to nothing but The Ex for the next couple of days!

3io - Back To New Roots Interesting covers album w/ jazz interpretations of 90's/00's dance tracks. Opens with a version of "Eple" (Royksopp) that I really like. Also has DJ Shadow, Fatboy Slim, Chemical Brothers, Underworld, etc. https://hellyeahrec.bandcamp.com/alb...ed-jazz-covers |
I bought Jah Wobble and the Nippon Dub Ensemble on vinyl. Quite odd dub

soup, where did your rotating album cover signature come from? |

Yes. Also: Barbara Manning — "Mark E Smith & Brix" Dig the Kim & Thurston reference as well. Which brings us to... |

What? No, I made it, son! I grabbed the images from AllMusic, downsized them and then used gifmaker.me, I believe. That was years ago — it could use a nifty update... |
I wasn't sure if it was aggregated from somewhere. Like, something similar that flipped your last 20 albums listened to on Spotify or whatever service could make a pretty cool sig. Or something that showed the last 20 albums added to your Discogs collection? Would be neat to see how easy it would be to put something like that together.

No! Cut out the covers from some magazine using a box cutter! Paste 'em onto a piece of paper using real glue! Then xerox the motherfuckers! That's the way we did it back in the day! THE HARD WAY, BABY! You can follow me on Facemook, Twatter, Instacrap, Spotifuck, but mostly down the street. |

I have sig view turned off, so I don’t see that shit, but I do remember thinking yours was cool. You should update it. |
NO AGE - SNARES LIKE A HAIRCUT

The Fall
Why arent you listening to The Fall? |
Quote:
I have been. Also the new No Age, which, as mentioned above, is pretty good... better at first listen than their last. |

But musicwise I am absolutely not a patriot, there are only very few Dutch bands I really like. You can count them on one hand with three fingers. I'm more intrigued by the Belgian music scene, especially near Antwerpen. dEUS and all their side projects for instance. Which is only an hour south for me still anyway, but different country ;-) And just now I listened to the new Nils Frahm. Have to listen to it a bit more, didn't grab me instantly. |

:( |
I am listening to albums by bands that would result in snide remarks if divulged.

Hah. Like Gin Blossoms and Candlebox? Or like Kendrick and Frank Ocean? ‘Cause some folks are too cool to entertain the empty populism of the latter two. In other words: fuck those other kids |
Sometimes it's not about being too cool, it's about Frank Ocean being insufferable to listen to for more than four consecutive seconds. But hey, if you have time in your life for that go right ahead. Who am I to say? I'll be over here listening to some excessively fruity Progressive folk music from the 1970s. Everybody knows how cool that is.
