An insult that would really offend me...

...is if someone called me "sound engineer"

i hope they all fucking die.

HaydenAsche 10.12.2006 11:11 AM

Heh. I'm considering becoming a sound engineer.

And I'm engaged to one.

There are worse insults. 'Session guitarist'. 'Rock Drummer'. 'Led-Zep influenced Blues Rock'.

In theory, you could have a session guitarist who is a rock drummer in a Led-Zep influenced blues rock group. The horror.

_slavo_ 10.12.2006 11:16 AM

You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to Glice again.

Glice 10.12.2006 11:21 AM

If I were in a band that was described as 'an ecletic mix of rock and funk' I would probably consider start considering genocide as a viable career path.

Savage Clone 10.12.2006 11:41 AM

Phil Collins.

Glice 10.12.2006 11:42 AM

I would dearly love it if someone described my music as 'pop'. Conversely, if anyone described it as 'post-rock', I would probably put crabs in their skulls.

Savage Clone 10.12.2006 11:43 AM

I know the sting of being called "post-rock." It just keeps hurting.

Glice 10.12.2006 11:46 AM

It hurts man, it really hurts. You wanna hug the pain out?

Savage Clone 10.12.2006 11:47 AM

Are you flirting with me?

Sorry, no. In this country we laugh and beat people who wear capes. I'm not criticising your people's [ahem] 'culture'. I'm not a racist. I just think you're a fucking freak.

Glice, don't confuse Savage Clone with the rest of us Americans.

I beat people who wear capes as well.

Savage Clone 10.12.2006 12:12 PM

Jeez. I already told you that I got into a (very rare) fight while (coincidentally) wearing that cape and won easily.

The fight was not instigated by anyone making fun of my cape, however. It was unrelated.

Was it related to his cape?

Savage Clone 10.12.2006 12:15 PM

No, it was non-cape related. And I really only wear that thing when it gets super fucking cold out, because it is very warm and offers good coverage in additon to ridiculousness.

HaydenAsche - don't assume that cape-wearing is the only prejudice I have against your ridiculous country. Your people's capacity for stupid assumptions being one of the more obvious prejudices I have against you.

Savage Clone 10.12.2006 12:26 PM

I'm pretty sure Americans didn't invent the cape.

I suppose they didn't invent passing the buck either?

Danny Himself 10.12.2006 12:31 PM

'Avant-garde'.
