disc 2 - Sunburned w/ Byron Coley - in orbit - this one is a hometown gig at feeding tube records featuring moloney, capistran, oshea, schneiderman, wood, pizzoferrato, ted lee(egg, eggs / zebu) jeremy pisani - one side of the was tight boogie psych and the other side was an outer-space synth squad with a juiced up Byron Coley (rock & poetry writer extraordinaire - forced exposure, the wire, spin, arthur, NO WAVE book) reading the poetry of Sun Ra - really amazing trip. this came out as a cassette on feeding tube records but here it is remastered by keith wood for better fidelity.

cdr comes in a plastic sleeve with 2 inserts and a sticker. this won't go to distro at all and the double disc edition wont be around long.

we're gonna head into the studio in may and put something together along these lines with a few different readers. a tour will come after.

I think I had a little too much wine last night and I wasn't reading posts carefully. The show that Spacebandit uploaded on Dime, does that feature Thurston too? And is it officially released as well?

no, Thurston only joined Sunburned for the Cafe OTO show. He has performed with them before but that was years ago... The Spacebandit upload didn't get released and I can upload it for you if you like.

The last one from this year's very successful taping activities. As before taped from last row behind the seated audience of maybe 30 people, sitting comfotably on
top of a bench, from a very cold ArbeiterJugendZentrum (they have no heating inside!). If you go there in winter time, don't forget your polar excusion outfit.
Recording came out a bit quiet, so I'd to push up the volume, but it's still quiet as I wanted to avoid too much hiss.
Some pictures taken by my dear brother Martin are included as well...

First of all, great big thanks to Dime brother Stubba for exceptional help with the mysteries of this recording. The three of us there (Martin, Wolli and me) were looking at
each other in disbelieve, as the music was quite very far away from their official releases, even off from their millions of semi-official material. Not that it sounded like
grindcore in a bad dream, but we thought of something different. Anyway, the collective of musicians was down to only three members at this show, and provided a surrealistic
ambient sound, especially if you have in mind, at what a location this was held. Truly weird, and of course the most unreal and out there shows I've seen and taped in 2011.
I don't know what happened, after the music stopped. Something like a discussion with the remaining few audience members started, but - as we all had to work next morning -
and it was 11.30 pm - with a full hour to go on my windshield - we decided to leave....

Not likely, I don't combine multiple bands into one upload even if they played on the same date: some torrent clients are finicky when it comes to partially downloading stuff.
