not a big fan of those though..

Keeping It Simple 03.08.2011 09:13 AM

Whose idea was it to make March 8th "pancake day? I'd like to see a "bacon buttie" day.

floatingslowly 03.08.2011 10:49 AM

the wafting smell of maple permeates my office.

alas, it's emanating from a coworker's oatmeal. :(

she didn't even know it was pamcake day....

me? I had cereal. who the fuck has time on a tuesday to get up and make pamcakes? losers. that' who.

ink. 03.08.2011 10:59 AM

I totally would have made pancakes this morning if I had remembered / had any idea it was pancake day. I'm still slightly annoyed at the lack of free promised liquor from work last night.(unless you stayed until what, 11?) but eh. :/

SONIC GAIL 03.08.2011 11:17 AM

mmmm liquor

pbradley 03.08.2011 11:34 AM

Pancakes are always great in theory but disappointing in practice.

venice and rio have the carnival, new orleans has mardi gras (same thing), and england has... pancake day?

okay, they look more like crepes from the picture, but you can get those in france any day of the year in a street corner. flee your food-challenged island now. paradise awaits.

jon boy 03.08.2011 01:21 PM

i once ate 12 in one sitting with orange and sugar and it was fucking amazing! the first one always sticks to the pan i find but after that its always plain sailing.

EVOLghost 03.08.2011 04:50 PM

I had quesadillas today...

EVOLghost 03.08.2011 04:50 PM

stu666 02.21.2012 05:36 PM

next year it will be on February 12th, put it in yr diary folks!

jon boy 02.21.2012 05:57 PM

today i am gonna eat 14 pancakes.

Keeping It Simple 02.22.2012 09:11 AM

Was there a reason behind "pancake day" being on Feb 21 instead of Mar 8th, this year?

it's the INTERNATIONAL house of pancakes, hence it has extraterritorial privileges, like an embassy.

the are allowed to serve pancakes ALL THE TIME.

they also ban smoking, american style. it's INTERNATIONAL!

stu666 02.12.2013 01:51 PM

It's that time of the year again... the only day we get to have pancakes!
