Wonder if then the box is also included ...

I think that's still a tad high - on principle I never pay more than EUR/USD 10 for a download, unless it's a charity appeal and/or massive in length (think over 2 hours).

Really great looking Led Zeppelin Celebration 3lp-box cost only 50 euros. Of course there are more stuff in that YKT-box, but I think I will be content with "early in the morning". 200 dollars is just too much of it.

This is actually a 600 edition art piece - like picasso releasing a limited edition etching - probably a good investment.

Rob Instigator 11.26.2013 10:23 AM

fuck that shit. Maybe 1% of everything released increases in value. This shit is just crap fetish objects

Aaaadrpk 11.26.2013 04:43 PM

The worst thing for me, is the taxes. Above $50 comes with taxes, theres a tolerance, if I spent $90 the probability of taxes is 80%.. so $200 probability is 100% ... and it is ''directly proportional'' with the total spent (included the shipment). $200 + shipment + taxes, for me, it's a veeery expensive. Only books have ''free pass''.

Rob Instigator 11.26.2013 04:47 PM

I could buy 20 different records for that price.

Maybe it's just me, but I believe they are placing some "value" on their signatures and Kim's box painting abilities.

These will make handy stocking stuffers for the children on your Christmas list! Ha-ha! This is the sort of thing that killed the comic-book industry in the early to mid '90s!

from what i've gathered from this thread, they don't need "all their fans", just 600 of them

so what you're saying is, if you were a peasant from the congo everything would rub you the wrong way, but because your first world underemployment lets you afford $40 and not $200, then only one of the items rubs you the wrong way.

if that is the case, $200 is small potatoes in the fetish world

Fucking shit, why on earth would folks need a fucking algorithm just to find the sales tax?

Chris Lawrence 12.08.2013 08:18 PM

I'm not sure if this has been mentioned, and I was too slow/stupid to grab it when I first saw it last night in Vancouver, but there's a 7" from the Spain sessions with Revolution Blues & Bushes and Briars, and I believe Lee did mention that the full album of recordings was still forthcoming.

Here's hoping the new year brings awesome SY/related releases. I just want a deluxe version of Washing Machine with demos, etc...

The Soup Nazi 12.08.2013 08:45 PM

Damn! Thanks for the links. It's still officially unreleased, eh?
