80`Goth
 

Every goth fans know Joy Division, Bauhaus, the Cure & Siouxsie. But I think there were lots of bands that aren´t known these days. Here are one Finn-band, that I didn´t understand at all when it came (I have listened it quite a lot recently):

Gargoyle Sox are a great and underknown Detroit-based goth outfit from the mid 80s. Love the EP I have of theirs.

used to hang around, a very good friend of mine knew him, with the singer's brother.
funny and smart guy; went to a live of his..trying to recall the name of the band. zero-x smth like that.

Are Sisters of Mercy goth, or was it just their first few LP's?

with that voice, eldritch even when he orders pizza, it should be consider a goth act.

Sisters Of Mercy is one of those goth bands that make me laugh (I think it´s not their or also any goth bands meaning). Here´s another one from Finland (try to listen long enough you hear the vocals, you will have a good laugh):

I just wondered, does there exists "Spinal Tap" from goth? Well, I think there will be document at least about Sisters of Mercy, so it can work that way.
