Seeing Sonic Youth Tonight
 

Rather unexpected. Wasn't planning on going, and out of the blue my cousin said he had tickets to the Sonic Youth/Pearl Jam show. I said hell yes! I'm seeing them mostly for Sonic Youth, but regardless I know Pearl Jam put on a good live show. Plus with Sonic Youth playing a big show, I hope they play a big set, and plenty of old tracks mixed in with the RR tracks. You can't tell but I'm fucking stoked. My mundane weekend just became rockin'!

Hell yeah man! ROCK.

Pissed off! Fucking traffic, I missed SY's entire goddamn set! Apparantly they came on right at 7:30, and they must have only played a half hour because I got there at 8:00 P.M. and I thought they hadn't already played yet and someone told me they did, Pearl Jam didn't get on stage till around 9:00, so why SY played such a short set is beyond me.

Man that sucks. Im sorry about that. That sort of thing has happened to me too many times before so I feel your pain! Hopefully they'll do more headlining shows in SoCal soon.
