Once again a quartet after the departure of multi-instrumentalist Jim O'Rourke, the long-running avant-rock band release their 20th album. It's a softer, more introverted take on the classic SY sound than their last few outings, scaling back the noise and amping up the tunes.

Who said Youth is wasted on the young? Now celebrating 25 years together and a new album, Rather Ripped, New York's beloved noise-rockers split their shows between festival appearances (Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza), dates supporting Pearl Jam, and their own headlining gigs, traversing the country from sea to Sonic sea.

I just got Entroducing... and heard it for the first time a few weeks ago and I'm hooked. Will definitely picking this up, as well as some of his other stuff. Any recommendations?

^Dude buy Preemptive Strike ASAP....I think it blows Endtroducing out of the water. The Private Press is really good too and if you really want to get wild then pick up his DVD Live! In Tune and on Time.
