Feel sorry for Pokkeherie but I'm glad it went to Spain. Holland were lucky not to be down to 8 or 9 players by the end. The better team one. Spain didn't play brilliantly tonight but I could never support Holland given the way they approached that game.

sorry Pokkeherie they tried they had their chances but Casillas was just to good. Spain defense was sloppier than any other game but Casillas was a wall. Mecklenberg was right there also took a busted play to beat him. I don't understand how you guys can call the game boring when you can cut the tension with a knife. I was on the end of my seat the whole game.

of course there was tension, it was the world cup final, and there were great moments, but the way the dutch played was anti-football.

I certainly didn't think the game was boring. I don't think either team played as well as they had previously in the tournament but it certainly wasn't dull.

I was thinking the very same thing. I assume, like me, you were thinking of Casillas. Surely if anyone deserved it during this tournament it was him.

I also think it's ludicrous that it's decided preior to the final (a stupid idea highlighted when Zidane won it last time, ignoring his headbutt in the final). I'm glad Forlan won it but it's outrageous that Casillas never even got nominated.

Oh and good show in the Fantasy Football league! England could've done with you instead of Capello, I reckon.:D
